NEW ROCK & POP CHOIR STARTS SEPT 2012

Just been along to the Pedal for Power party in Derby marketplace. What a great idea, music powered by bikes!

Thought it would be a good time to hand out a few flyers for the Rock & Pop Choir that’s starting at the VoiceBox tomorrow night! Just preparing a few songs/ warm-ups and ideas for the first FREE session tomorrow.

I know of at least one person who’s coming, so hopefully we’ll be able to do some 2 part harmonies!

If you’re in the Derby area and free, why not come along? Check back for updates on this NEW venture.

Or for more details, see the teaching & workshops page.

      Hi Cath,
Yes anyone can join! There are no auditions & I teach the songs by rote, with reference to lyric sheets. It’s from 7.30-9.30pm.
Let me know if you have any further questions :).

Hi Eleanor, we’re surrounded by flooded roads so probably won’t be able to get to choir tonight, really sorry, was looking forward to it…

Hi Caroline, it’s a shame you couldn’t make it. Thanks for letting me know, only saw your post today, but wondered if a few people had that problem as there were a couple of people missing. Hopefully see you next week

Hi Caroline, not sure I have your email address. Just to let you know I won’t be well enough to attend the open mic on Friday so have cancelled our performance. Not sure whether you were thinking of coming. Look forward to choir starting again in the New Year!

        Hi Eleanor,
Sorry to hear you’re not feeling well & have had to cancel the open mic night. I won’t make it to the first Mon in January but will be back the following week.
Get well soon & happy new year to you.
        Caroline x
